FURRER 70 media box is a tribute to Beat Furrer—composer, conductor, and founder of Klangforum Wien. This meticulously curated collection includes 6 CDs featuring 18 essential works, 3 films, a poster, and 2 books filled with essays, interviews, and photographic sequences, as well as a list of 2560 Books from Beat Furrer’s library. Crafted from high-quality, debossed cardboard, packaging design deliberately avoids printed elements and instead focuses on the haptics and structure of the material. The debossing gives the box a subtle depth and is reminiscent of the delicate and complex structures in Furrer’s music. The simplicity of the design emphasizes the importance of the content and places the composer and his work at the centre.
