Posters, visuals and libretto for a meta-opera, a collaboration between Klangforum Wien and Needcompany. Amopera is a dystopic ballad that aims to explore the role and meaning of art, making use of techniques such as deconstruction, collage and accumulation.

Amopera is bad latin for “I love opera”; in which case it is about love. It can also be bad English for “I am opera”; in which case art is a self-portrait of the viewer. 

The premiere took place in Festspielhaus Erl. 
Collaboration with Jakob Mayr and Mitzi Gugg.
